1. What makes Strange Eden different than other duets?

       At least three things:

  1. First is genuine enthusiasm; it is the desire to please and truly entertain our audiences. You’ll see this in the way in which we personally interact with the audience both on and off the stage, making an effort to personally meet and greet audience members between sets.
  2. Secondly, our presentation format sounds & looks great. Great care was taken in the construction and arrangement our custom-made music tracks. The sound equipment we use was specifically chosen to produce rich, full-range music at any listening level. Our stage show is visually enhanced by the use of special stage lighting which is synchronized to each song to produce professional (and really cool!) lighting effects. The end result is a great looking presentation as well as a great sounding one, even in small venues.
  3. Third is our professional work ethic. We’re punctual, reliable and courteous to everyone. Those who’ve hired us often tell us how much they enjoy and appreciate this. Check out some testimonials by clicking here.

2. You have a great sound for only two people - how do you do it?
Through the use of custom produced backing tracks created by Mantis Audio Productions, state-of-the-art electronics and an excellent sound system. We produce high fidelity, crystal-clear sound which is free from annoying feedback or obscured vocals and deliver it at comfortable listening levels suited to each venue.

3. Why don’t you perform with a full band?
We were once part of a good band and really enjoyed it! The challenges with a full band, however, are typically volume control and stage size requirements. Our current presentation format allows us to tailor the volume to very comfortable and appropriate levels while remaining crystal-clear. Our smaller stage footprint takes up less space than a full band. In this way, Strange Eden offers a tremendous value to venues: the sound of a really good, multi-piece band without any of the associated downsides.

4. What types of the audiences does Strange Eden appeal to?
Information obtained from our mailing list subscribers coupled with venue demographics and performance experience from 2007 to the present seems to indicate that they’re typically individuals and couples who are financially secure, educated, working professionals, aged 30-55. They enjoy hearing, singing and dancing to a mix of recognizable pop-rock radio hits primarily centered around popular 80's artists but which also extends to include a mixture of hits from the 70's to the present.

5. What types of venues is Strange Eden successful at?
Experience has shown consistent success at venues which have been identified by the audience as their preferred vacation, get-away or local dining/drinking establishments. These audiences tend to exhibit a higher degree of enthusiasm towards quality entertainment which enhances their night-out or vacation experience.
